System 2 Installation / Programming Manual
Baud Rates (Option #15)
This option allows the user to change the Baud Rate. The baud rate is the speed at which the
System 2 communicates with the optional Printer, Video Display Terminal or Personal
Computer.
System default is 9600 Baud, because most devices operate at this speed. DO NOT change the
Baud Rate unless you have a very good reason to do so.
Select the Baud Rate
The VDT will display the instructions:
1=1200
2=2400
3=9600
Baud Rate [9600]
After you have made your selection, the VDT will display the instructions:
Change Baud
Press Any Key
This is a reminder for you to make sure your printer, Video Display Terminal or PCs baud rate
was changed to match to baud rate you have just set-up.
Press Any Key to return to the Main Menu.
